4 Kenyan Music Videos from October So Far, That Are Straight Fire!

As the title on this site suggests, I am all about Life, Love and Music and so paying attention to the latter, here are 4 amazing Kenyan music videos released in the month of October.

Note: These videos are in no particular order and are on this list purely due to personal preference.

Victoria Kimani ‘My Money’.

From its melody to the thought process behind the video concept and the song’s message (which in some type of way is reminiscent of Rihanna’s ‘Better have my money), Victoria’s Chocolate City produced single is definitely on my list.

Kansoul ‘No Woman No Party’.

Humor, rhymes and great beats. That’s how I’d describe this now MTV Africa Music Award nominated crew and their music. Barely over a year old, the trio that is Madtraxx, Meja and Kora have absolutely outdone themselves on this video that also stars hit producer and artist Ndegz. Looking like the stars they are, here’s the white themed video to that song.

Creme de la Creme ft Wahu and Sudi Boy ‘Hadi Lini’.

Bringing us more of that authentic Kenyan vibe, DJ producer and Epic Nation head honcho Creme de la creme brought together two artists from two generations, Sudi Boy and Wahu. The result? A song with a good message (something about alcohol and family) and better still, an awesome video. With the jam produced at Homeboyz Music studios by Yo Alex, here’s the now viral video to ‘Hadi Lini’.

Redfourth Chorus ‘What is love’.

Okay I’ll admit that this is mostly here because of my love for cover songs. Phillip ‘Filah’ Tuju is notable for the many incredible covers he’s recorded with the Upper-hill High-school Boys Choir and he’s recently shown he’s just as capable at arranging beautiful acapella covers with an all girl choir.

Well his most recent cover is one I wrote about and which made its way to this list because if you’re anything like me, then you’ve played this at least more than once.

There you have it. That’s my list of four Kenyan music videos to have come out in the month of October. As always, feel free to share any other that you think should have been on the list. Or, let me know if you agree about these four. Either way, thanks for checking this out πŸ™‚
