If you’ve caught my weekend show on HBR, then by now you know that I am crazy about cover music. We sample a lot of that kind of music on the show and even pit two covers to the same single against each other on a feature called ‘Under Cover’.
Well we hang out with ‘Kantai’ singers Le Band over the weekend and found out some pretty interesting things about them, while listening to them do acoustic covers to their own hits and one interesting unexpected rendition to ‘Lean On’ by Major Lazer.
Look forward to watching the video which was shot and produced by Clive Muthomi and Smitten Mwas on YouTube but in the meantime, here’s what it sounded like.
