E Sir’s music clearly outlived him.
It’s been over a decade since he passed away but I know we’d just as easily sing along to ‘Leo ni Leo’ and rap to every word of his K Rupt collabo ‘Bamba’ today. That’s if you weren’t born after his time.
Last month on my Weekend Radio Show ‘Weekend Breakfast’, I interviewed Third Hand Music who talked about why they are called ‘Third Hand Music’ (hint, it’s to do with God) and what they have in store for us.
They also performed live and on air doing acoustic versions to two of their one of their radio singles ‘Helena’ before doing this impromptu rendition to E Sir’s ‘Mos Mos’.
For more acoustic renditions, tune in to my radio show on HBR Saturdays and Sundays 6am to 9am.
